You'll notice most of my projects feature a character or more. The life of each project begins with who this character is. Who lives in this world we create and what do we feel from that? For a music video, it's the feeling the song gives you. For a commercial, it's how this character's personality communicates the product.

The word "brand" is thrown around a lot. When I say brand I mean in the simplest form: a person or company's meaning to others. A brand has many entry points, but digital is a common medium that I work in. How your brand feels to others is worth its weight in gold. My work creates these warm fuzzy feelings (or edgy feelings if that's your style).

I create work under my studio, Pylon Animations. The more unique the need, the more satisfying the project. Need an animation about your new spacecraft product? Have a ridesharing app and need a digital mascot? Need a music video with a giant ant? We already did all that. What's your marketing need?

The journey began as a kid when I accidentally discovered stop-motion animation with a point-and-shoot camera. The idea of creating the illusion of life intrigued me and I continued experimenting with animation in different mediums. I taught myself 3D animation and later went to Watkins College of Art (formerly O'More College of Design) at Belmont University for design communications.

Working with amazing people and amazing projects is what I enjoy. It is always a pleasure to see a brand's need accomplished with animation.
