I kitbashed a bunch of models to match my concept art the client approved. A lot of the heavy lifting was done by creating custom textures that I projected from the camera's view. Having a mostly locked-off camera allowed this technique. Reflections/highlights could be faked since there's minimal light in a dark, creepy, forest.
A new texture was created for the up-close shot.
BW looks cool too!
